It's extremely important that we learn how to recognise the illusions we've contact with in the present moment, not getting intimidated by the amount of negativity it hides behind the scenes. If we feel any negative emotion leading us to fear such negativity, we're just lost in a deep period of suffering, which we've no way to step out until we regain consciousness and understanding of the situation we're experiencing. It's time to incorporate the clear understanding that being a slave isn't an option, i.e., being a puppet to please the suffering of another is far worse than death, and therefore, a conscious mind cannot accept something that isn't part of the natural cycle of life, standing strong and resilient against it. We can picture that as the image of Buddha, the enlightened one, in a meditation posture being attacked by Māra, changing neither his posture nor position no matter how insistent Māra can be. It's only when we realise how awful being a slave is that we understand why being conscious—in the middle of an environment dominated by darkness and hatred culture itself—is a sacrifice a conscious mind needs to be prepared for.
Let's get prepared to face darkness in a conscious and meaningful way, using the resources we've at hand as our most trustworthy assets. It's important we rely on the self, recognising the importance of identifying, analysing, and understanding the presence of darkness in the surroundings, removing the attachment to our physical body without embracing our own suffering to commit suicide and take away the wonderful gift of life we've received. Suicide isn't a option as well as being a slave is also not a conscious and meaningful way of life. We need to surpass that barrier of fearing the outside. We need to cultivate and nurture the beautiful light we've deep within, being slave to either no one or nothing, which includes our own suffering.
We need to liberate the self from seeing the universe through the lens of our naked eyes. We need to start using our third eye to clearly see what we're facing in the present moment, taking advantage of anything we experience in the benefit of strengthening and hardening the self while walking the path towards a meaningful life, and stepping into our personal evolution.
It's important to realise and understand we're not alone. Even if we experience moments where all human beings in the surroundings are conditioned by darkness, let's remember that we need just to keep consciousness at hand, and therefore, nature and the universe itself would be hand-to-hand with us. Let's never forget that.
