It’s important to be aware of the illusions we’ve contact with in the environment we’re inserted into. It’s important that we understand those illusions in order to keep consciousness at hand no matter the circumstances. Unfortunately, we’re powerless against the orchestration of external illusions, which if we’re not aware of their origins, we may mistake them for fabrications of our own mind. When we attain clarity of mind to rely on the self, we attain peace of mind to understand when, where, and why we get surrounded by darkness, figuring out the clear purpose of that presence, which is related with something associated with the self. The more we realise that, the better we understand challenges and difficulties we’re facing in the environment we’re inserted into.
We just need to observe the surroundings, opening our third eye to understand what happens in the present moment. The most challenging situation is seeing and experiencing discriminatory scenes with the certainty that we’ve no power to change minds in suffering who embrace discrimination. And we’re not talking just about discrimination of colour or genre. There are different types of discrimination, which are nothing more than the same discriminatory pattern targeting a specific person, or a group of people sharing a common characteristic. No matter being specific or collective, it’s important to recognise that the discriminatory pattern is the same.
Society needs evolution to deal with discrimination of all types, mainly discrimination from a group targeting a specific individual. If we realise those groups may use their political and financial power to intimidate any person getting close to the individual being targeted, we understand how and why that discriminatory pattern generates a discriminatory ripple effect, where the population starts excluding a given individual with fear of being discriminated in a similar way. We just need to keep consciousness at hand to see it clearly.
As a hypothetical example, let’s imagine an hypothesis where I’m the bastard prince of England, and because of that, a group of individuals would like to make my life miserable, using their political power and influence to force myself to be diagnosed with a severe mental disorder, which is an illusion created by society, with no scientific foundation as already stated by the renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz. Would that group give up from reaching that awful goal? Would that group let any person (mainly women) approach a person in that situation without following a given discriminatory script? Would that group let a person in that situation live a life without applying any type of censorship masked by something else, which is able to bend the common laws and cloud the naked eyes of the majority of the population? We just need to use our consciousness and think a little bit to understand the scenario.
The moment we start using more of our consciousness than blindly following a given belief, it’s the moment we understand the path for ending discrimination in the society we’re part of.
