As much as it’s extremely difficult and challenging to be in the middle of a hostile environment, full of minds in suffering with the clear goal of harming lives with cruelty, dishonour, and no respect even for themselves, we need to take the opportunity to enhance, step by step, towards our personal evolution. We’ll not be capable of attaining buddhahood with no time. However, keeping consciousness at hand supports us to see the clear path of how to do it. Let’s not be so hard on ourselves, mainly when we’re in the middle of a hostile environment, where we’ve to spend the majority of our energy with self-defence in order to create room for our body and mind training, focusing on reaching far distances of our evolutionary path. Let’s remember that the hostility we observe on the outside has the power of teaching us what we’re not meant to be while aligned with our love nature. We just need to keep that priceless piece of knowledge clear within our own mind.

Darkness has a beautiful power of teaching us the counter-example, which means the power of performing actions we need to remove from our own perspective and relativity. It’s by consciously observing the presence of darkness that we can realise and understand every single trace related to hatred culture we need to vanish from our character, stepping into our personal evolution to keep walking the path towards a meaningful life in a conscious and meaningful way.

We need  to learn how to learn the beauty of treating everyone as equals when we see someone else treating another like a slave. We need to observe the scene with our third eye, incorporating the capability of removing the negative conditioning from the situation we’re experiencing, creating empathy for the one who's receiving an unfair treatment, which means, improving our ability to be kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental no matter the circumstances.

When we carefully observe a scene where a person is treating others like a slave, we understand the belief of an unconscious mind  that has been conditioned to embrace slavery as the right thing to do, performing the duty for the greater good of keeping the segregation of society as it is. Thus, we should learn from that mindset by doing a similar strategy with the clear difference of treating everyone as equals, breaking the barriers of the imposed segregation resulted from the negative conditioning applied. When we realise the opposition of those approaches, we understand why light and darkness are tightly related besides being opposite forces with completely orthogonal goals.

Trying to change or control a fool’s unconscious mind is as useless as trying to argue with a slavery-oriented person that treating people like slaves is wrong. Somehow in their mind they believe what they’re doing is right, and I’m sorry I’ve no capability to answer why. Thus, we need to step into our personal evolution, cultivating and nurturing the beautiful light we’ve deep within.

The moment we free ourselves from the influence of darkness, it’s the moment we can start facing darkness in a conscious and meaningful way, attaining higher levels of peace of mind while walking the path towards a meaningful life.
