Happiness is indeed a way of life, which means it’s something we’re always cultivating, nurturing, and generating no matter the circumstances. If we think about happiness as a destination, something we’ll attain eventually, we would just get frustrated of living in the middle of a society dominated by darkness and the hatred culture. We need to generate happiness on our own, becoming as strong and resilient as we can to deal with any negative conditioning we’re subjected to in the environment we’re inserted into. We need to channel any negative emotion we may feel, e.g., anger, to do something good, increasing and boosting our body strength and mind resilience without compromising the full control of keeping consciousness at hand no matter the circumstances.

We need always to be in control of our own mind, letting negative emotions flow when we’re able to channel them for doing something good and beneficial to the self. It’s only by understanding our own suffering that we can use it in our favour, converting a negative into a positive outcome with little or no effort applied.

We need also to observe things from the perspective of fearing darkness no more, enhancing the self in a conscious and meaningful way as part of our personal evolution. It’s only when we fear darkness no more that we’re able to realise and understand the unlimited power we’ve deep within, achieving the clarity of mind to accept darkness guidance and influence as something out of our life journey.

If darkness attempts to impose things, we can just ignore and treat it like a piece of shit we get out from our body at the right moment, causing no harm to the environment or ourselves. The more we incorporate the powerful energy of being conscious, the better we understand why walking the path towards a meaningful life is a personal choice instead of a negotiation to live alongside with atrocities caused by darkness itself.
