There’s an important lesson to learn when we’re subjected to a huge amount of negativity, and the presence of darkness for so long: keeping a peaceful state of mind in public, and working to cool down the blood at the heart of our own privacy until we feel no disturbance within, even in the face of any type of human rights violation. It’s only by keeping our mind at peace, and our blood at the coldest level, that we can get prepared to make tough calls and perform tough decisions no matter the circumstances. Thus, we need to use the presence of darkness as an asset for our body and mind training. The peaceful our mind become, the stronger our body gets, and the coldest our blood is, the greater it’s the capability to tap into the unlimited source of power we’ve deep within.

A peaceful mind is capable of extraordinary things, allowing the observation, analysis, and understanding of any period of suffering we may step into. It can also enables the self to face darkness in a conscious and meaningful way, giving us the ability to deal with any type of negativity and illusion we may’ve contact with in the environment we’re inserted into.

Our body and mind training enhances step by step, and we can use any type of human rights violation we may have contact with in our favour. It’s only when we get the true sense of what a human rights violation is, i.e., it’s only when we experience a human rights violation ourselves that we get the sense of how we can draw a suitable strategy to attain higher levels of peace of mind no matter the circumstances.

When we’re in the face of human rights violations we’ve no control on the outside, and therefore, on who’re performing such violations. If we step into a period of suffering attempting to control anything on the outside we may end up burning the whole environment, deteriorating the self as the consequence of a period of suffering. We can be better than that when we use our consciousness meaningfully, taking the opportunity to learn the details of the human rights violations we’re experiencing.

A wise ancient general, Sun Tzu, has left a wonderful teaching that says we need to know ourselves better than we know our adversary. It’s only by knowing our strengths and weaknesses that we’re able to establish a suitable strategy to defend ourselves from anything we may face during our life journey, which may include being in the middle of a war we’ve no intention to be part of.

The moment we realise the only way to step into our personal evolution is keeping consciousness at hand, attaining higher levels of peace of mind, it’s the moment we understand anger may show us a huge amount of power for a short period of time; but only a peaceful state of mind can lead us to tap into the source of that power to use it as we please, and for an unlimited period of time and magnitude.
