It’s important we keep consciousness at hand to embrace the positive energy of the beautiful light we’ve deep within, instead of embracing darkness and the negative conditioning we’re subjected to in the environment we’re inserted into. Slavery isn’t right, and it’ll never be. Therefore, if we’ve been somehow invited to join and embrace darkness, promoting slavery-related values and the cult of hate, we’ve all the rights to reject it no matter the circumstances. If everyone around is experiencing deep periods of suffering, and promoting slavery-related values and the cult of hate, it’s by keeping consciousness at hand that we can decide to establish a new order with foundation on top of genuine love, applying a wonderful Buddha’s teaching that says: right is right, even if we’re the only one doing it; and wrong is wrong if everyone else around is doing it. The moment we establish a strong and resilient station centred in genuine love, it’s the moment we understand that a new order emerges deep within, where slavery and slavery-related values get promoted no more.

Slavery is just wrong, and we need to keep consciousness at hand to recognise behaviours and cultural traits that are related to that awful practice. We need courage, as slavery is the clear materialisation of darkness and the eager desire a person may have by considering themselves as a superior race, i.e., dividing the order of the universe in two distinguished groups: good people who aren’t slaves; and disposable people who are slaves.

It’s not new that people who are seen as slaves are considered disposable things by people who considered themselves a superior race. And even when slavery is prohibited by law, the simple fact of using any other characteristic—such as money and possessions—for segregating the society, and justifying a different treatment and interpretation of laws according to such aforementioned characteristics, exhibits a clear yet hidden way of keeping promoting slavery-related values all around. A conscious mind can see it clearly. However, like ancient times of the clear practice of slavery, (usually) only the ones who have money and possessions, and accept slavery-related values no more, are somehow allowed to speak about limited slavery-related subjects and issues without being prosecuted by the ones promoting (hidden-)slavery.

Let’s be brave enough to step into our personal evolution, cultivating and nurturing the beautiful light we’ve deep within as a way of attaining higher levels of peace of mind, and walking the path towards a meaningful life no matter the circumstances.
