While facing darkness we need to be aware of the deceptive behaviour we would have to deal with, implying the need of being prepared for anything, and at any circumstances. Thus, we need to keep consciousness at hand, attaining higher levels of peace of mind to deal with any obnoxious situation in a conscious and meaningful way. Sometimes people mistake the way of speaking with whether experiencing peace of mind. That is a huge mistake and the example is the difference of cultures. Asians speak different from Brazilians, who also speak different from British, and so on. We tend to relate nationality, way of speaking, and peace of mind, which depending on the nationality implies seeing someone speaking very slowly as a person experiencing peace of mind, and someone speaking faster as a chaotic person. Therefore, a Brazilian speaking like an Asian or a British speaker using a mix of Asian and Brazilian ways of speaking may be wrongly interpreted from an external perspective. The moment we realise that, it’s the moment we understand that behaviour and peace of mind are related yet distinguished things we understand nothing from an external perspective.
Discrimination is based on seeing another as inferior, which implies disregarding reasoning and understanding based on knowledge, and considering only a fabricated illusion that classifies a person as whether inferior. If a person is considered inferior, we would observe the surroundings of that person behaving like the ancient times where slavery was a common and accepted practice, implying the vision of inferiority combined with a dress of slave that was born to serve the superior race.
A mind in suffering who thinks of being a member of a superior race doesn’t consider others as equals, which means being capable of establishing no common understanding supported by knowledge exchange. We would always observe imposition, enforcing others considered inferior to do what they want or bearing the consequences of what a mind in suffering may see as an unacceptable behaviour. We need to be prepared for dealing with such minds in suffering, as it’s almost impossible from our own perspective and relativity to make a person who considered themselves as superior to wake up for the illusions we’ve contact with.
Being kind and compassionate is the foundation of cultivating and nurturing the beautiful light we’ve deep within, as well as not entering in any type of provocation of a fabricated scene we may experience in the environment we’re inserted into. The more we’re aware of that, the better we understand the dominance and control of darkness and hatred culture have in the society we’re part of.
Let’s be brave, performing our body and mind training while walking the path towards a meaningful life no matter the circumstances.
