When we’re inserted into an environment where people aren’t considered equals, we clearly see that people who considered themselves a superior race attempt to harm the lives of others they consider inferior. Why? The answer is extremely simple: in their troubled minds, people who considered themselves a superior race feel threatened by anything those people considered inferior exhibit, possess, or do in a better way than they can exhibit, possess, or do by themselves. Let me give a clear example. If someone who considers themselves a superior race sees another looking at us with admiration,e.g., finding us pretty/handsome, they would attempt to cause harm towards us to prevent feeling threatened by the beauty of someone they consider inferior. The same applies to any other characteristic, possession, ability, or capability besides beauty. Hence, the moment we realise what people considered themselves a superior race can do, it’s the moment we understand why we need to get prepared for dealing with minds in suffering who consider themselves a superior race.
The segregation of society in different groups is as ancient as the concept of society itself, which isn’t the real deal of establishing different groups to share a common environment. The real deal emerges when a group starts considering their members a superior race, which implies establishing in their troubled minds that they’ve privileges over any other group with members considered an inferior race, no matter the circumstances.
We’ve experienced how cruel a person who considers themselves a superior race can be with another they consider inferior. The long periods of slavery observed through History have taught us that. People who were enslaved have got humiliated, prosecuted, hunted, and executed, most of the time by the simple fact that someone has considered themselves an inferior race.
We need to be alert and aware of the fact that we’re still living in a society where people aren’t considered equals. The good news is: we’ve the power at hand to change that, at least within our own perspective and relativity.
The moment we start considering and treating people as equals, it’s the moment we understand we’re equals yet shining the beautiful light we’ve deep within in unique ways.
