We should perform our body and mind training to know exactly the difference between a shared space and a private one, where we can go deep into our training and energy growth. When in a shared space we need to respect the rules and conventions established and applied to that space, which implies in keeping consciousness at hand to know how to deal with obnoxious situations in a meaningful way, although we need to be prepared for anything, no matter the circumstances. In a private space, otherwise, we’ve no rules or conventions to follow, which implies another degree of freedom to deal with violations of such sacred space utilised for our personal growth and well-being. We should have clear in our mind the importance of respecting the private space of others, as well as the duty of being prepared to defend our own privacy when observing ongoing violations. It’s similar to defending a territory: if an unauthorised person steps into our territory without invitation, what should happen if they repeatedly disrespect our alert to leave the place, insisting on staying and start destroying things around? The moment we realise the answer for that question, it’s the moment we understand we cannot run away forever from darkness. In a given moment of time we have to face darkness consciously and meaningfully, diminishing its power and making it vanish as the result of manifesting our light from the inside out.

Let’s stop getting intimidated by the presence of darkness in the surroundings. Enough is enough, and it’ll be always enough when we keep consciousness at hand no matter the circumstances. When we reach the expanding point required to step into higher stages of our personal evolution, which enables us to tap into a huge energy we’ve dormant deep within, we start valuing—even more—our privacy combined with the moments we stay alone in deep mind training and meditative practices. Any violation of such private moments without either a genuine previous announcement, or an emergency and good reason to enter such sacred space suddenly are considered a profound disrespect and dishonour ever committed by a human being. Every single person violating a private space should be aware and conscious of the negative consequences of doing that on purpose, even after being alerted to leave and/or doing that no more.

If we have been conditioned to perform such violations, we should be prepared to face the consequences. A mind in suffering isn’t able to clearly think and reason about that matter. The moment we realise keeping consciousness at hand enables us to clearly know the difference between a shared and a private space, it’s the moment we understand nothing can save us if we insist in experiencing deep periods of suffering and perform different types of violation as a way of life.
